Job Description
HCA Healthcare is recruting Patient Care Technicians HCA Healthcare is one of the nation’s leading providers of healthcare services, with 186 hospitals in 21 states and the United Kingdom. Some of their hospital locations are currently hiring Patient Care Technicians. This is a very hands-on role and you will be working directly with patients on the hospital floor every day.

Job Role:
- Help patients with daily activities like eating, bathing, and moving around
- Check and record patient vitals including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Keep patient rooms clean and comfortable at all times
- Assist nurses with basic bedside procedures when needed
- Respond to patient call lights quickly and take care of their needs
- Update patient information in the system accurately
- Report any changes in a patient's condition to the nurse immediately
Working Hours
- Full-time: 36 to 40 hours per week
- Rotational shifts — day, evening, and night shifts available
- Weekend shifts required depending on the unit you are assigned to
- Overtime available for those who want extra hours
Job Benefits:
- Annual salary of $32,000 – $42,000 based on experience and location

Requirements
- A Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician certificate from an accredited program
- Comfortable working directly with patients in a hospital setting
- Able to stay calm when things get busy on the floor
- Good communication with nurses, doctors, and other staff
- Basic computer skills for updating patient records
- Physically fit — this job involves a lot of standing and moving around
- Compassionate and patient when dealing with sick or elderly patients
Experience
At least 6 months of experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred. Fresh graduates from an accredited CNA or PCT program are also welcome to apply. Candidates with a current CNA certification will be given priority.
