Job Description
Turner Construction is one of the biggest construction companies in the USA. Turner Construction build commercial buildings, hospitals, schools, and large infrastructure projects across the country. Their Houston office is hiring Construction Laborers right now for active job sites in the city.
The work is physical and outdoors. You will be on a construction site every day, helping the crew get the job done. If you are someone who does not mind hard work, can follow safety rules, and wants steady pay with a well known company, this is a good opportunity.
Job Role
- Carry and move building materials around the job site as needed
- Dig trenches, set up scaffolding, and prepare work areas
- Clean up the job site at the end of each day
- Help skilled tradespeople like carpenters and electricians with their work
- Load and unload materials and equipment from delivery trucks
- Follow all safety rules on site without exception
- Report any hazards or unsafe conditions to the site supervisor
Working Hours
- Full-time: 40 to 50 hours per week
- Monday to Friday with some Saturday work depending on the project
- Early morning starts — most sites begin at 6:30 or 7:00 AM
- Overtime is available and common during busy project phases

- Hourly pay of $18 – $25 based on experience

Requirements
- Physically fit and able to do heavy lifting throughout the shift
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction site safety rules
- Can follow instructions from supervisors and work well in a team
- Reliable and punctual — job sites run on tight schedules
- OSHA 10 certification is preferred but not mandatory
- A valid driving license is a plus
Experience
No formal experience is required. If you have worked on a construction site before that is a plus but Turner Construction will train the right candidate. A willingness to work hard and follow instructions matters more than prior experience here.
