Job Description
We are hiring remote Transcriptionists in the US. You will listen to audio files and type out what is said. Work comes from many sources. These include podcasts, legal files, business calls, and research talks.
This job is for you if you listen well. It is for you if you type fast and clean. You need to work on your own. You need to stay on task. If small details matter to you, this is a good fit.
Each task comes through a secure portal. You get a file, a format guide, and a due date. You work on your own. If you are not sure about something, ask early. Do not guess. A coordinator is on hand if you need help.
Job Role
- Type out what is said in audio and video files
- Check your work for errors before you send it
- Use the style guide for each client job
- Mark any parts you can not hear — do not guess
- Send your files on time through our online tool
- Keep all client content private at all times
- Use audio software to work at a good pace
- Ask your team lead if a file has a problem
