Job Description
CCRM Fertility is one of the most highly ranked networks of fertility clinics in the United States. They help patients create families for over 30 years and are known for some of the highest success rates in the country. Their Houston clinic is looking for an ART Specialist to join their lab team on a full-time basis.
This is a clinical position with hands on patient care. You will be working in a fertility lab on a daily basis handling embryos, eggs and sperm samples as part of the IVF and reproductive treatment process. It's a job that demands precision, focus, and a genuine care for the patients whose samples you are working with. Each of these samples is someone's hope for a child, and that's the burden of responsibility that comes with this job.
Job Role:
- Perform laboratory procedures including egg retrieval, fertilization and embryo culture.
- Prepare and process sperm samples for IVF and IUI procedures.
- Record daily embryo development and keep accurate lab records
- Run and look after lab equipment and make sure all the equipment is calibrated properly
- Apply strict quality control processes at each step
- Work with fertility doctors and nurses through treatment cycles
- Cryoconservation of embryos, eggs and sperm samples
Job Responsiblity:
- A degree in Biology, Reproductive Science, Medical Technology, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience working in a clinical or reproductive lab setting
- Familiar with IVF procedures and basic embryology techniques
- Strong attention to detail — mistakes in this lab have serious consequences
- Able to work carefully and methodically under pressure
- Good communication with the clinical team around you
- Must be comfortable working with sensitive biological samples every day
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience is required. Candidates with specific experience in an IVF or fertility lab will be given strong preference. Fresh graduates with a relevant science degree and strong lab skills during their studies are also welcome to apply.
Working Hours
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday with occasional weekend coverage during active treatment cycles
- Early morning starts are common as embryo checks happen first thing each day
- On call availability may be required at certain times during busy cycles
Job Benefits:
- Annual salary of $55,000 – $75,000 based on experience and qualifications
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401k retirement plan with company contribution
- Paid time off and sick leave
- Ongoing training and development in reproductive technology
- A chance to work in one of the most meaningful areas of modern medicine
