Job Description

Guild Hiring is a UK-based administration company working with clients across different industries. Our team handles large volumes of business records every week. We keep things simple, organised, and accurate. Right now, we are looking for reliable people to join us as Remote Data Entry Clerks.

This is not a sales role. There is no cold calling and no customer support involved. You will work from home, focus on your tasks, and get paid for the hours you put in.

What the Job Involves

Every working day, you will receive a set of records that need to be entered, updated, or checked. These records come through our secure online systems. Your job is to go through them carefully and make sure everything is correct before it gets stored in our database.

Some days, the work will involve updating customer information. Other days, you may be checking spreadsheets for errors, correcting entries, or moving data from one system to another. The tasks are clear and straightforward. You will always know what needs to be done.

New starters go through a paid training period before taking on a full workload. You will not be left to figure things out on your own.

Your Daily Tasks

  • Enter data into company systems accurately
  • Update existing records when changes are needed
  • Review digital forms before processing them
  • Check for missing or incorrect information
  • Flag and report any duplicate entries
  • Keep electronic files and folders properly organised
  • Complete work within the deadlines given
  • Follow company procedures for handling data
  • Support general admin tasks as required

Requirements

You do not need years of experience to apply. What matters most is that you pay attention to detail, work carefully, and can manage your time without needing someone to check on you every hour.

  • Good typing speed and accuracy
  • Basic computer skills
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets
  • Able to follow written instructions without needing constant guidance
  • Good written English
  • Organised and reliable with deadlines

If you have worked in an office, done admin work before, or have experience with data entry, that is a bonus. But we also welcome applications from people looking to get started in remote work for the first time.

Working Hours and Setup

This is a fully remote position. You will work from home using our secure systems. No office visits are required.

You will need a reliable internet connection and a working computer or laptop. Both full-time and part-time shifts are available. We will work with you to find a schedule that fits.

During busy periods, there may be more records to process. We always let team members know in advance when this is coming.
